Juan has been cooking for our family for quite many years now, including for large family reunions and trips with friends. He is always amazing with adjusting the food to our requirements, including many allergy requests, and also with using local produce. Juan always showcases the best of Mallorca and has introduced me to one of my most favourite dishes. Juan truly makes all our trips special and also makes amazing fresh bread.

We used Juan to cook two meals for us when we stayed in Majorca last summer.
On each occasion he arrived on time and proceeded to cook the most amazing food for 6 of us with absolutely delicious canapés. He was charming and efficient and when he left you would not have known he had even been there it was so clean and tidy. I can highly recommend him. He is a fabulous chef.
Our experience with Juan began even before we arrived in Mallorca, thanks to his exceptional communication and thoughtful planning. He took the time to understand our preferences, dietary restrictions, and culinary interests, ensuring every meal was perfectly tailored to our needs—including thoughtfully adjusting each menu to accommodate a gluten intolerance.
After a ten-hour journey, we were welcomed with a fully stocked kitchen, chilled wine, and a beautifully prepared meal. Standouts included a perfectly cooked turbot, exquisitely prepared lamb, a rich paella, and daily breakfasts featuring an array of fresh fruit, cured meats, local cheeses, and pastries from Fornalutx. Each meal was a masterpiece—both visually stunning and deeply flavorful—featuring a meticulous selection of seasonal vegetables, local seafood, and high-quality meats. Juan seamlessly blended Mallorcan tradition with Basque inventiveness, creating dishes that were both comforting and exciting.
Beyond the food, what made our time with Juan truly special was his warmth and generosity. He not only shared his love of food but also his deep knowledge of the island, enriching our experience in ways we never expected. We are so grateful for his incredible cooking and beautiful spirit, and we eagerly look forward to the next time we can share a meal with him.
We had the great pleasure of hiring Juan as a private chef for two weeks, who prepared a wonderful breakfast and an exquisite lunch for us each day... His culinary creations were not only exceptionally delicious and beautifully presented, but his kind, attentive, and yet unobtrusive manner also impressed us... He always respected our privacy while being so caring that we would love to book him again anytime... we would have even taken him home with us if we could :-)
